People Are Roasting Another Woman On Social Media Mistaking Her For Woman Who Slut-Shamed Girls In Gurgaon

This woman has an uncanny resemblance to the woman who moral policed a group of girls in Gurgaon, commenting on the length of their dress.

And what’s strange is that they both share the same name. This woman, Soma Chakraborty, who is being trolled and is sent negative messages by people on social media, is not the one who abused girls wearing short clothes in a restaurant in Gurgaon. And so, daughter of Soma Chakraborty shared a post on social media putting it out clearly that the woman in question is not the accused. Also, they live in Kolkata.

She and her daughter are being brutally harassed on social media. On May 1, a video was shared by a group of girls who were abused and harassed by a woman at a restaurant in Gurgaon.

“Excuse me, aapko sharam nahin aati aapke thighs dikh rahe hain (aren’t you ashamed of showing your thights)?”, was what a middle-aged woman told her when she entered an eatery at JMD Megapolis Mall in Gurgaon.

Shivani, a-30-year-old copy writer and her five other friends were harassed at the eatery.

The woman told them: “Women get raped because of women like you.” Addressing a group of men sitting nearby, she asked them, “Agar aapko aisi ladkiyaan dikhti hain to rape kar do (If you see such girls, rape them).”
