Woman gang-raped by sarpanch’s husband and school teacher in MP
Oct 4, 2013 BHOPAL: A 25-year-old newly married woman was gang-raped by two persons including the village sarpanch’s husband and a school teacher in Morena district on Wednesday night. The incident took place at Dhannu Ka Pura village – around 15 km from district headquarters. Jaura sub-divisional officer of police (SDOP) KD Sonakia said the woman had gone to Jaura locality for some work on Wednesday where village sarpanch’s husband – Narendra Singh Kushwaha, met her. Narendra Singh took her to a house on pretext of returning the money he had loaned from her husband. There she was raped by Kushwah and a school teacher identified as Rajesh. They left her in the house and escaped the spot threatening the survivor of dire consequences. The victim reached police station on Thursday and lodged a complaint against both the accused.
