Watch 20 Men Tear Off Girl’s Clothes In Full Public View And Nobody Came Forward For Help

In a heartbreaking incident, a woman was gangraped by 20 men in Kashipur town of Uttrakhand on Thursday. A video clip depicting a few men molesting a woman surfaced on the interwebz and sparked an outrage amongst the netizens. As believed, the video is shot in Kashipur town of Udham Singh Nagar district which also shows 20 people watching as mute spectators while the men were molesting the woman. Senthil Avodai Raj, senior superintendent of police (SSP) told media, “The victim had gone to a house under construction in search of her brother. On reaching there, she was surrounded by more than a dozen men who tried to molest her and tore off her clothes. One of them also made a video of the incident on his mobile phone. Somehow, the girl managed to escape and told her family about the occurrence.”

The victim’s father registered a complaint after which the girl was taken for medical examination. Meanwhile, one of the accused made the clip viral. Seven people have been arrested in association with the case. Police officials said they are on lookout for other people who would be nabbed soon. All of them have been charged under various sections of Indian Penal Code including 376D (Gangrape), 354B (Assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe), 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), 323 (Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) as well as sections of the IT Act.
