Techie held for raping colleague in Noida
NOIDA: A 22-year-old software engineer was arrested on Sunday by Noida police for having a physical relationship with his colleague on the pretext of marriage. Cops said that an FIR has been lodged at the Sector 58 police station. The accused has done B.Tech from a private college in Jaipur. The accused, identified as Kshitiz Garg, works with a leading software company in Sector 58. “The victim in her complaint alleged that Garg promised to marry her, but later refused. The accused was allegedly raping her on the pretext of marriage,” said a senior police officer, adding that the case was lodged in Delhi as the victim is a resident of the capital. On the basis of the victim’s complaint, Delhi Police had registered a zero FIR and then transferred the case to Noida. “On September 4, he took her to a hotel and had sex with her.
