It’s my fault!

Because true beauty is white skin and cherry cheeks I will have to change myself. Because I have big thighs and round stomach, I will have to change myself. Because I am taught that I am nothing without him, And so, I am dying for his support. Because, only men know if I am fuckable, I will have to change myself. Because people without a vagina would decide if they want a kid, I will have to stay mum, all this while. Because, all of a sudden, impurity is tattooed all over my skin when I am on my period, I can’t change this natural cycle, so I will have to stay away from the world so that nobody suffers. And I will have to change myself. Because our society tells us that Ignorance is bliss, Men will be men, You can’t be too loud as a woman, Women are people but they should know their limits. Because there is nothing wrong with men beating his wife or raping his wife, or having an extra-marital affair! Because hypocrites are allowed in temples, but girl on period aren’t. It’s my fault!
