Read on to explore the story of a girl like you and me who wanted to reach out to the moon but somewhere on her way she was hit by a comet.
‘Mummy, Mummy, look at me! I’m wearing your heels, don’t I look nice?’ ‘Oh yes, they look very nice on you!’ ‘And how does my dress look with my earrings?’ ‘It’s looking just right.’ ‘Mummy, I want to be the best model in the world one day.’ ‘And so you will, my love, so you will.’
I woke up to bright sunlight falling on my face for the memories of previous night were hazy. I realized that I was naked and my body was aching. I was unable to move but somehow i managed to remove the blanket off to examine myself. There were bite marks all over my limbs. When I craned my neck to look at my back, I saw marks that looked like they were made by a belt. There was dried blood and semen all over my inner thighs. I just wanted an answer to the question- What happened last night?
I remember going to a night club with him; Miami its name was. For the very first time i went to a club so big and lavish. In my town, the swankiest hotel had a brightly lit room that served soft drinks on a wooden table with Shahrukh Khan Songs playing in the background. I used to think that is what all clubs looked like but that was history. From the dusty lanes of Jabalpur i made my way to come to Mumbai to fulfill my dream-to become a model. I knew no one other than this man who instilled the confidence within me that i will become a supermodel one day. And I trusted him, with all my might for there were only two things i kept my faith in-my dream to become a supermodel and this man. Miami, with its array of drinks, bar counters, stylish people and groovy music had come as a huge surprise to me. I was so fascinated by the gleam and shine of this place. I remember gulping down shots after shots while people crooned over my looks and told me how I would make it big in the fashion industry. While I was still pondering over what actually happened last night, the bathroom door opened and he came out wearing a towel with a cocky smile on his face.
‘Good morning, beautiful.’ he said. ‘What happened last night?’, I asked. ‘Why do you sound so angry baby?’, he replied with a grin. ‘Why do I look like this?’ I murmured. ‘You look so beautiful; I can still taste your lips on mine,’ he said while staring at me. ‘What the fuck happened last night?’ I asked again. ‘You mean you don’t remember anything?’ he replied with a witty smile on his face. ‘What did you do to me, you asshole?’ and i asked again. ‘Nothing’ ‘WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?………………… Tell me? ‘ and I asked again and again.
”Oh sweetheart, it’s alright if you don’t remember anything about what happened last night for you enjoyed a lot at Miami. You were looking so stunning in the black dress and the red lingerie made you look extremely gorgeous.Do you remember how everybody was telling you that you can be the next supermodel? Sorry, poor chick you were too high that you can’t even recall that how come you are in my room.Well if you really wish to know about it then call up one of your friends, they’ll tell you everything you need to know about last night. It’s all over the internet, after all.’’ ‘What are you talking about?’, I asked. ‘There was a video camera placed on the table in front of the bed. It had been recording all night’, he laughed his heart out while saying this. And i collapsed after hearing this and with it collapsed all my dreams………
