WOMEN- A Good Housewife or an Entrepreneur…

A woman is a lot of things. Whenever one genuinely thinks of the various roles she plays in the course of her lifetime, we ought to feel obliged.

I feel it’s completely bizarre why it’s always a woman who comes under the spotlight when we need to judge roles played by someone in their lifetime. Be it a housewife, or an entrepreneur, a woman should be appreciated in every way possible and should never be judged upon. If we consider, for instance, the Indian rustic society, the woman folk are still in today’s time made to sit at home and indulge into anything but the books. Books are somehow, only meant for the men. This notion is, in every way an appalling one which no educated person should ever be in favor of. I do not deny the fact that generally, I repeat generally, women, especially belonging to a traditional era, are better at taking caring of the household and family and raise their kids whilst staying at home all the while. But that is only because she was brought up in very similar conditions. Also, there might be some women who find it easier to go outside their houses and work and earn for a living. There are even a third kind who balance their work outside and inside of the house easily. I feel we certainly cannot make a comparative judgement just by scrutinizing the judgements a woman makes for herself. Unfortunately, it’s true that today, woman as an entrepreneur is a more respected figure than a housewife. Some might even believe that a woman who is working outside the boundaries of her home is more responsible, aware and intellectual than the one who stays at home. However, we need to understand that a housewife’s work does not get any easier ever. Working as a housewife is far more palpable and humane, and the very act deserves all the respect.

Above all speculations, respect is something which depends on the mindset of a person and it comes from within. It is a woman’s courteous behavior and attitude which earns her all the respect. So, basically, neither a housewife nor an entrepreneur, a woman is best received when she herself is the one who makes the various decisions of her life, and excels in whatever she chooses to do, without any regrets.
